THE ACT ON MUTUAL RELATIONSHIP OF THE TENANTS OF RESIDENTIAL BUILDING IN NEW SERBIAN REGULATIONS
Summary
The theme of this paper is the analysis of the provisions of the new Law on housing and building maintenance related to the act regulating the mutual relationship of the apartments owners in a residential building. Researching this topic and for the purpose of reaching a quality assessment, the author conducted a comparative analysis of the new provisions with the solutions from the previous law, as well as with those existing in other countries. In the first part of the paper, the author discusses a number and types of acts regulating this mutual relationship. In the second part, she analyzes the compulsory and facultative content of this act. In the third and the fourt part, the author presents the method of its adoption and changes involved. The fifth part is dedicated to the analysis of the legal effect of the act regulating the mutual relationship of the tenants in a residential building. In the conclusion, the author presents strengths and weaknesses of new provisions and presents suggestions for their correction.
