PHENOMENOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF HOMICIDE AND HOMICIDANTS

Criminological research on the city of Kragujevac

 for the period 1999-2009 year

Phenomenological picture of criminality is in a constant change. In today`s world, there is an increase of criminal acts, especially the hardest manifestations of sanctioned behavior in which on the first place is criminal act of murder. The first step in opposition to occurrence of crime such as criminal act of murder is to learn its manifestations, frequency, number, diffusion, executors and the way how it was done. The main aim of this work is to bring closer the listed findings about the manifestations of a murder to phenomenology of a modern executor of criminal act of murder as well as the attempt of identification of factors for murder. Retrospective study included homicide data for the period 1999-2009 year performed in Sumadija district, or precisely in the territory of city Kragujevac with muncipalities( Arandjelovac, Topola, Batocina, Lapovo, Raca, Knic).The examined parameters are the ones regarding executors, victims and the very act of murder. It was used the method of descriptive statistics of data which were recorded in judical and state authorities. In a period of 1999-2009 there were 146 murder victimization and murders in attempt. Perfective form of murder was recorded in 61 cases while the number of reported was 66. According to the results of criminological study there was confirmed assumption about the heterogeneous population of the executors of criminal act of murders as well as the manifestations of criminal act. Nevertheless, connecting collected data it is possible to give certain conclusions about the phenomenological characteristics of homicide and homicidants which was presented in concluding remarks of this work.
