CRITICAL REVIEW OF LAW ON COMPANIES OF THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA FROM 2011.

SUMMARY

In the middle of this year adopted a new Law on Companies of the Republic of Serbia, as an important legal document for the business economy. Law is a continuation of harmonizing our legislation with the European Union and modern solutions from comparative law, as well as other laws that were enacted in the Republic of Serbia. The paper analyzes the most important new legislation and institutes, and points out their strengths and weaknesses, and its application to everyday business practices. It is also emphasized and the obligations of business entities resulting from the Act, and the consequences that follow if these obligations are not met.
