WORK THROUGH THE AGENCY FOR TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT IN SERBIA

Summary

Despite certain debatable solutions of the Law on agency employment, which should be amended, the adoption of the law regulating temporary work through temporary employment agencies represents progress compared to the recent state of legal vacuum, which left a lot of room for employee abuse. Of course, as mentioned in the paper, this legal solution has both advantages and disadvantages, but certainly, it is much better that the position of employees through agencies is regulated by law, even if that law also has debatable solutions, than that temporary employment is carried out outside legal frameworks, which was the case until the adoption of the Law on agency employment.
