The faculty has established main tasks and goals that are in line with the goals of higher education in Serbia and established by the Law on Higher Education of the Republic of Serbia.
The Faculty of Law of the University of Kragujevac, within the framework of its core activities, develops educational, professional and scientific research work in the field of legal sciences. In addition to the existing ones, the Faculty of Law also implements new educational standards in accordance with the Bologna Declaration in order to improve the educational process and the quality of teaching. In this way, students are enabled to acquire theoretical and professional knowledge and professional skills at a modern educational level with the aim of creative work and successful employment in the Republic of Serbia and abroad. Also, in order to acquire practical knowledge and experience by students, the Faculty of Law cooperates with judicial authorities, business entities, social work centers, penal and correctional institutions, state administration and local self-government, and diplomatic and consular services. The Faculty also develops cooperation with related institutions in the country and the world, which enables the exchange of teachers, associates and students, but also improves educational and scientific activities. By accepting and implementing a new quality management system, the Faculty of Law ensures the achievement of high domestic and international standards of quality of educational, professional and scientific research work. The ultimate goal of the Faculty of Law is to create high-quality experts and scientists in the field of law, as well as raising the general level of legal awareness as one of the important elements in building a state governed by the rule of law. Also, by improving curricula and connecting with international and domestic institutions, the Faculty of Law in Kragujevac aims to become one of the key carriers of the development of the legal profession and science in the Republic of Serbia.
